On Tuesday, August 2, at 7:00 p.m. in the Fellowship Hall, the Prayer Team would like to invite you to gather with them and join in a new initiative to establish intentional prayer in our church family consciousness. The Prayer Team has been pausing at 7:30 each morning and evening to enter into an intentional time of prayer. Their experience has been meaningful and they would like to invite you to join with them in their endeavor to intentionally pray. Please sign up on the sheet outside the pastor’s office if you plan to come on August 2.
Caring and Sharing Positions Available
- Do you enjoy crocheting? Crochet prayer shawls that are given to someone in time of need, generally when recovering from an illness or surgery. Time commitment is up to you!
- Do you enjoy brightening someone’s day? You could take left-behind altar flowers to a shut-in or a nursing home after the late service on Sundays. Time commitment depends on the number of volunteers, hopefully one Sunday every month or two. This would be most convenient for late service attendees or people who live close to the church.
- Do you like to organize? You could call the person giving the week’s flowers and ask if they plan to take them home or if they choose to have them delivered to a shut-in or nursing home. If the flowers are to be donated, this overseer will arrange to have one of the deliverers deliver the flowers.

Prayer Requests
Please take a moment to review the prayer requests on the front of this announcement sheet. We will be removing all names at the beginning of each month unless we hear from you that the person needs to remain on the list. The only exceptions will be the homebound members and the military which will remain until we are notified that they need to be removed.
