Activities, rehearsals and meals have returned for Winter/Spring 2012. Join in the fun and fellowship. Please check the schedules on the bulletin board or website www.doveandcross.org to see when your group will be meeting. All groups do not meet on a weekly basis.

February 17-19th, 2012, APLC leaders would like to invite your family to participate in a family beach retreat at the Kure Beach Lutheran Retreat Center.  It is a fantastic opportunity for families to relax and get to know other families at APLC.  We have two more family spots available.  Cost would be $100-$120 per family and help prepare one meal for those participating.  Please see the youth and family ministries bulletin board for more details.

Meals will continue at 5:30 – 6:45 p.m.  All other regular programming will be suspended until the new year.  At 6:00 p.m. our children will rehearse for the upcoming Christmas program.  At 7:00 p.m. the congregation will gather in the sanctuary for Advent Mid-Week Worship featuring the Holden Evening Prayer and  readings around the Jesse Tree.

SAVE THE DATE: September 24th at 6:00pm!  Abiding Presence will host its First Annual Princess Ball!  A fun-filled night for girls ages PK through Grade 6 and their Fathers, Gran-dads or Uncles, etc. All young ladies can wear their best to the Ball escorted by their favorite gentleman of their choosing. Dinner, Music, Photos, and more. Stay tuned for more information to come about this fun filled dinner-dance. We are looking for adult volunteers as well as middle schoolers/high schoolers who are willing to help with serving food, photo booth, set up, clean up, DJ/music, food, etc. E-Mail Jill Cassone at jill@success4school.com if interested in helping with this Fun & Fellowship Event.
