Attention Women of APLC and Friends: A weekly Bible Study for women will start Tuesday, February 7th at 6:30pm. Our first study will be “Believing God” by Beth Moore. This is a 10 week commitment. Workbooks can be purchased at Lifeway Christian Bookstore. Bring your glasses, pens, Bible and an open heart to experience an “explosion of faith”. All are welcome, and bring your friends.

On Wednesday, September 7 at 10:00 a.m. the OWLS, our retirement aged group, will gather in the fellowship hall for their annual kick-off brunch. If you are retired and looking for a Bible study, good food and great friends, come perch with the OWLS.

On Wednesday, August 10, the Older Wiser LutheranS will travel to Bailey, NC, to visit The Country Doctors Museum. The web site is www.countrydoctormuseum.org. The cost is $4 for seniors (over 55 years old). After our museum tour we will journey down the road and eat at a local favorite eatery, Bailey Cafe. Check out the menu at www.baileycafe.com. We will leave the church parking lot at 8:45 a.m. to arrive for our tour at 10:00 a.m. Please sign up on the sheet outside the pastor’s office.

Anew Women’s Group typically meets on the fourth Saturday of the month. However; this month, since the fourth Saturday is a long weekend and many will be out of town, we will meet on June 4th instead. Anew is a Bible study/discussion group that meets at 9:30 – 11:00 one Saturday a month. Recently we began working through a book by Max Lucado called “Just Like Jesus”. We will be meeting at 7pm on Wednesday, February 2 at All Aboard Pizza in Holly Springs for fun and fellowship.  Come out and join us for a good time and get to know your fellow APLC ladies even better!  The restaurant is located at 204 Village Walk Drive in Holly Springs — this is in the new Harris Teeter shopping center off of 55.  Please let Jennifer Bland (jennifermorsebland@yahoo.com) know if you’d like to attend so that she can make sure we have a table that will hold us all.
