S.T.O.R.M. (Service To Others Resource Ministry) will once again be setting up the ANGEL TREE in early December to provide gifts for families in our area who are in need. The tree will be set up in the narthex and decorated with paper ornaments with gift information listed on it. If you would like to help in this area of ministry,  select an ornament (or as many as you’d like), purchase the gift(s), wrap it and put the ornament on the gift so we will know who the gift is for. The gifts must be brought back to church and placed under the Angel Tree by Sunday, December 18th. We also need some volunteers to help deliver the gifts to each family. The APLC STORM Team would like to thank the congregation for their generous donations of food for the Thanksgiving dinners that we provided to five local families in need. The families appreciated your gifts and the wonderful food that you provided. Thank you for reaching out and serving the needs of all of God’s children.

The Abiding Presence STORM Team needs your help in providing ready-to-cook Thanksgiving dinners for five local families in need. We will be delivering the dinners on Sunday, November 20. All of the food items should be delivered to the kitchen by second service on November 20. There is a poster in the narthex identifying the food needs. The APLC STORM team would like to thank those at Abiding Presence who gave so generously of their time, talents and treasure to provide and prepare food, transportation and medical screenings for the migrant worker dinner.  We fed close to 100 hungry men and their families.  It was wonderful to see so many of you reaching out and serving the needs of all of God’s children.

There are lots of open slots.
