Emily Graff is a final year seminarian at Luther Seminary in St. Paul, MN. She began her internship on Feb 21st.
Thankful for Luther’s flexible distributive learning program, she has been able to work full time while completing her Master of Divinity. Growing up Lutheran in an ELCA church, she always felt pulled to ministry. Eight years ago, while sitting in a pew on a Sunday morning, that pull turned into a call to pursue ordination in the ELCA.
When asked, “why ministry?” Vicar Emily responds that she is passionate about those who find themselves on the outskirts of faith and told that they do not belong. She has a heart for radical inclusivity, social justice and accompanying others as they discover and experience God’s love.
Emily and her wife Allie just welcomed their newest member of the family, at the end of September, and the baby is settling in as the new little sister to Emily’s other 3 children.
