Adult Faith Formation
Book of Revelation contains passages of great beauty and comfort, as well as passages that seem bizarre and sometimes frightening. How are we to discern God’s message in this peculiar part of the Bible, particularly when faced with difficult questions about prophecy, the end times, and Jesus’ return?
Pastor Kim will lead a 6-week study on the book of Revelation, engaging the trusted scholarship of Bruce M. Metzger, distinguished professor of New Testament studies at Princeton Theological Seminary in Breaking the Code and also drawing upon Barbara Rossing’s work in The Rapture Exposed, which debunks the destructive and distorted interpretation of Revelation that has inspired The Left Behind series of books and movies.

Youth and Children
In addition to welcoming children (Pre-K to 2nd-grade) to APLC Children’s Church During Worship, we will kick off Children’s Sunday School (children 3rd through 5th grade), Affirmation of Baptism (conformation) class and Journey Youth Ministry (for Middle School & High School youth) on September 14th.
