Caring Ministries

Our Caring Ministries are all about showing love and support when people need it most. Whether it’s a Stephen Minister offering a listening ear, a meal train for a family in need, or communion brought to someone at home, we’re here to care for one another.

Stephen Ministry

Stephen Ministers provide high-quality, one-to-one, Christ-centered care to people in the congregation and the community experiencing life difficulties.

You can identify our Stephen Ministers by looking for their Stephen Minister name tags on any Sunday. If you would prefer to have one of our Stephen Ministers contact you, please let our office know and someone in our Stephen Ministry will follow up with you.

GriefShare

A GriefShare support group is a safe, welcoming place where people understand the difficult emotions of grief. You’ll receive valuable guidance and tips, leading you to relief, comfort, and peace of mind.

APLC hosts a Grief Share group a few times a year. You can learn more and find a current group in your area here: https://www.griefshare.org/

Other Ways We Care

Other areas of caring ministry include Home Communion for homebound members and Meal Trains for families experiencing a challenging time.
