Walk. Give. Change the World

APLC will be supporting the CROP Hunger Walk this year. The CROP Hunger Walk is a nationwide, interfaith fundraising movement to combat hunger both globally and locally. The first walk in the area was in 1974. This year, it will be held October 25th in downtown Raleigh.

Donations raised in the walk are split. 75% of the money raised goes to long-term international development (such as clean water wells, livestock programs, and sustainable agriculture in developing nations). The remaining 25% stays directly in the Triangle area, and is distributed to local soup kitchens, food pantries, and homeless shelters to fight hunger at the neighborhood level.
