Habitat for Humanity Build: Save the Dates
Habitat will be doing another build, in conjunction with the Lutheran Habitat Coalition, we will be building a house for a deserving family this fall/spring in Knightdale. We have many opportunities to show our generosity and engagement outside our church walls.
- Day 1 build, erecting the walls, we need 3-5 volunteers to raise the walls. Each church will be sending volunteers. 28 October 2023
- APLC build date number 1 will be 2 December 2023: We will be needing 15 volunteers and lunch to feed approximately 25 people. This is an all-day commitment. The workday is usually from 8am-4pm. As in the past you will need to sign up via Habitat’s website.
- APLC build date number 2 will be 2 March 2024: We will be needing 15 volunteers and lunch to feed approximately 25 people. This is an all day commitment. The workday is usually from 8am-4pm. As in the past you will need to sign up via Habitat’s website,
- Men’s mission group will be volunteering on a Friday, TBD.
- Help with lunch: We also need volunteers to help provide and support lunch for our two build dates. Contact the APLC office if you would like to help with or support lunch.
